J Hatch Trio Music Fundraiser

We raised $940 this month (October) at a fund-raising party hosted by Beth Rietveld and Sam Stern at their Corvallis home. The party featured live music by the J Hatch Trio, with J Hatch on piano, Ray Brassfield on upright bass and Fred Berman on sax and clarinet. Hatch flew from Germany for the event and donated proceeds from the sale of his CD, "The Birmingham Sessions," to our scholarship fund. In 2009, the trio played a benefit Mardi Gras show at Block 15 restaurant in Corvallis.
