In our December 2020 board meeting, Women’s Education Initiative board members approved the scholarship funds to support Kaze’s return to school. She will attend the University of Kigali this spring semester, beginning March 21, 2021. In the two-year program, she will complete her bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management.

Here in Rwanda life is becoming worse every day, because of effects of Covid -19 pandemic. Food, health services and schools had become expensive. It’s not the same as in European or American countries, because some people who offered those had stopped working and those who are working and those who are working ask too much prices to give those services to people.

It takes two years for getting Bachelor degree and one year takes 3 semester. This college is located in the city and is private so it has no accommodation. As I told you before about the way I can conduct my studies, the easiest is to find accommodation near school but It could not be possible to find a cheap house near the school, I can find it away from school and use a bus (Tap and Go card) or Motorbike to get to school.
